Mission Cruise 2019

“We recently returned from leading a group of 31 former and new friends on mission shore excursions in Mexico and Cuba.  Following our first full day at sea, we arrived in picturesque Cozumel, Mexico. In the afternoon, we visited the Ciudad de Ángeles —“City of Angels”—a unique inter-denominational Christian children’s home that accepts orphaned children from throughout Mexico.  Siblings are never separated. The children (infants through 18 years of age) are carefully placed in a Christian family with a married couple who live in a home on campus and become loving, nurturing parents to the children. In Havana, Cuba we met with Lt. Colonels Julio and Leyanis Moreno, divisional leaders for the Central Cuba Division.  Following a tour of the headquarters and nearby senior citizens residence, we enjoyed a relaxing, memorable and delicious lunch in a nearby restaurant with the leaders, officers, and employees.Plans are in place for a missions cruise next January 18-25, 2020. We will visit visiting missions in Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, Dominican Republic and Nassau, Bahamas — See details under “Inspirational Tours and Cruises”
